Jamie Meyers earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Cleveland State University, after initially receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Cincinnati. Jamie discovered her passion for physical therapy after becoming a patient in need of PT herself. She experienced first-hand how an injury affects not only a person’s physical health, but also their mental, social, and emotional wellbeing.
As a clinician, Jamie prioritizes each of these variables when working with patients. She is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, improve their overall quality of life, and return to activities that bring them joy.
During her career, Jamie has worked with a diverse range of patient populations. She is specialized in treating patients with vestibular disorders including vertigo, dizziness, balance impairments, concussion, and fall-risks, as well as patients with complex neurological and orthopedic conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, brain injury, amputee, chronic pain, post-operative care, and Return-to-Sport rehabilitation.
Outside of the clinic, Jamie enjoys spending time with family, traveling abroad, playing board games, and cheering for Cleveland sports teams (Go Guardians!).
